Lilia:
In January of 2004, my fiancé and I
were working fulltime on dead-end
jobs and going to college fulltime
as well. We were tired of having
the “employee
mentality” and were at a
point when we were questioning
everything our bosses told us to
do. We were not only questioning
our careers but also our current
and future lifestyle.
To make a long story short, two of
our dearest friends helped us go to
a Real Estate camp. We were very
weary of venturing into the real
estate world since we had no clue
on what this new and
“risky” adventure would
bring to our future. Going to the
camp was the best decision I have
ever made! (Other than getting
married to the love of my life, of
course!)
Only two years later, and here we
are! We doubled our annual salary
in just the very first year. This
year we are already working on
tripling it |
Real Estate
has changed our lives in
unimaginable ways! We never thought
we could make a difference in our
community, but we indeed have.
The neighborhoods where we grew up
were considered the worst of town
– vandalized, boarded-up and
vacant homes on every lot!
Ironically we have purchased many
of those problem properties and
have turned them around. We
sometimes buy them and get the
privilege of fixing them up
ourselves or we turn around and
“flip” them to other
investors to rehab them. For all of
this, we are very thankful! We can
actually see our impact on these
neighborhoods.
And all in two years work!
Sincerely,
Jose and Lilia
